Ceiling TV Mounts

Commercial-grade TV ceiling mounts for 10 to 88 inch screens, engineered by Expert AV Products, Inc. Every mount hangs from the same 1.5" NPT pipe standard, so a ceiling plate, a pipe or telescoping extension, and a mount head combine for the exact drop a room needs.

A ceiling mount puts the screen where walls cannot: over dental chairs and exam tables, above bar backs and menu counters, in storefront windows, and in open rooms with no usable wall. The complete mounts below ship with an adjustable mast and a tilting head; the modular system parts extend any of them to longer drops, angled ceilings, Unistrut, beams, or trusses.

Complete ceiling mounts

Every model ships ready to hang: plate, adjustable mast, and tilting head. Model numbers link to full spec sheets. Multi-screen ceiling mounts (back-to-back, double-wide, stacked) are listed with multi-screen & digital signage.

Build a custom drop from system parts

The same three parts make every configuration: pick a plate for the structure, a pipe for the drop, and a head for the screen.

Installation

The mounting sequence is the same across the line: locate structure, attach the ceiling plate, set the mast, and hang the screen. The step-by-step procedure, drop-length selection, and safety requirements are in the ceiling TV mount installation guide. Model-specific instruction PDFs are in the manuals library.

Common questions

How far below the ceiling does the TV hang?

Each mount ships with an adjustable mast; typical ranges run from 18 to 63 inches below the ceiling depending on the model (the 33CE004 adjusts 18 to 31 inches, the 33CE33TW 39 to 63 inches). For longer drops, fixed 1.5" NPT pipe is available in lengths to 48 inches and telescoping extensions adjust from 8 to 72 inches.

Can a ceiling TV mount attach to an angled or cathedral ceiling?

Yes. The 33CE015 is built for angled ceilings, and the angled ceiling plates (11AC005, 11CP006) or the ANGLE-CEILING adapter let any mount in the 1.5" NPT system hang plumb from a sloped ceiling.

What ceiling structures do the plates attach to?

The standard plates mount to wood beams and joists 2 x 4 inches and larger. Dedicated plates and clamps cover Unistrut, I-beams, trusses, and wall mounting. The structure must support 4 times the total load; professional installation is recommended for ceiling-mounted products.

How much weight can a ceiling TV mount hold?

Capacity runs from 60 to 165 lb by model. The 33CE004 and 33CE007 are rated 165 lb. The rated capacity is listed on every spec page and must not be exceeded.

Which TVs fit these mounts?

The line covers screens from 10 to 88 inches with VESA patterns to 600x400. VESA adapter plates are available for larger or non-standard hole patterns.

Do the mounts tilt or rotate?

Most heads tilt 12 to 20 degrees for screens mounted above eye level, and most rotate for portrait or landscape viewing; the 33CE004 rotates a full 360 degrees.
