The mount uses the 1.5" NPT pipe system: a threaded mast connects the head to a ceiling plate chosen for the structure - flat ceiling, angled or cathedral ceiling, or Unistrut channel. Because the mast is standard 1.5" NPT pipe, the drop is set by the pipe or telescoping extension selected, so the screen can hang at the height the room requires. The head accepts VESA patterns from 50 x 50 mm to 600 x 400 mm, the wider pattern range used by many larger commercial displays; fit depends on the mounting hole pattern and weight rather than the listed screen size alone.
The 12 degree downward tilt angles the screen toward viewers, and the 360 degree rotation sets the facing direction from a single ceiling position. The mount attaches to the building structure rather than to ceiling tile grid, and professional installation is recommended for ceiling-hung displays. Typical applications include conference rooms, restaurants, and digital signage installations that use large-pattern displays.
