The mount uses the 1.5" NPT pipe system: a threaded mast connects the tilting head to a ceiling plate, with the drop from the ceiling set between 24.5 and 37.5 inches. Plates are available for flat ceilings, angled or cathedral ceilings, and Unistrut channel. When the operatory ceiling is higher, standard 1.5" NPT pipe or telescoping extensions lengthen the drop. The head accepts VESA mounting patterns from 75 x 75 mm to 200 x 200 mm; any display within that pattern range and under the 75 lb rating fits, regardless of the listed screen size.
In use, the 90 degree tilt range lets the screen face straight down over a reclined patient or hang vertically for upright viewing, and the angle can be readjusted as the room layout changes. The metal mount with a black powdercoat finish attaches to the building structure rather than to ceiling tile grid, and professional installation is recommended for ceiling-hung equipment. The primary application is dental operatories, where the display hangs directly above the chair in the patient sightline; it also suits exam rooms and other settings that need a horizontal screen overhead.
