Details
The mount is built on the 1.5" NPT pipe system: a threaded mast connects the mount head to a ceiling plate, with the drop from the ceiling configured between 18 and 31 inches. Ceiling plates are available for flat ceilings, angled or cathedral ceilings, and Unistrut channel. When a longer drop is needed, standard 1.5" NPT pipe or telescoping extensions bring the screen down to the required height. The head accepts VESA mounting patterns from 55 x 65 mm to 760 x 470 mm, which covers most large commercial and consumer displays.
In operation, the 15 degree downward tilt angles the screen toward viewers below, and the 360 degree rotation allows the display to face any direction from a single ceiling position. Cable management routes wiring through the mount so cords stay contained from the display to the ceiling. The mount attaches to the building structure rather than to ceiling tile grid, and professional installation is recommended for ceiling-hung displays. Typical applications include conference rooms, restaurants, classrooms, and digital signage where large screens hang in open sight lines.
