Within the Expert Mounts ceiling-mount system, plates and adapters are the parts that join the pipe to the building; this plate does that job at a wall. It accepts 1.5" NPT threaded pipe, the mast of the system, which then carries a mount head for the display or projector. Because the thread standard is shared across the system, masts, extension pipes, and mount heads interchange with the other plates.
Choose the wall plate when the available structure is a wall rather than a ceiling; the flat, angled, Unistrut, and beam clamp parts cover the overhead options. Like every plate in the system, it must be fastened to structure able to support 4 times the total load of the pipe, hardware, and mounted equipment. Professional installation is recommended for ceiling-mounted products in this system.
