Details
The kit is the attachment point of the Expert Mounts ceiling-mount system in exposed-structure spaces. It combines a Unistrut adapter with a length of strut and a pair of beam clamps: the clamps grip the beam, the strut spans between them, and the adapter provides the socket that accepts 1.5" NPT threaded pipe. That pipe serves as the mast and carries a mount head for the display or projector.
Use this kit when the structure overhead is a steel beam or girder rather than a finished ceiling; flat and angled plates suit finished ceilings, and the plain Unistrut adapter suits existing strut channel. The beam and the clamp assembly must be able to support 4 times the total load of the pipe, hardware, and mounted equipment. Professional installation is recommended for ceiling-mounted products.
