Details
As the attachment point of the Expert Mounts ceiling-mount system, the plate accepts 1.5" NPT threaded pipe; the pipe serves as the mast and carries a mount head for the display, projector, or antenna. The plate is metal construction, carries a rated capacity of 125 lb, and provides a VESA 100x100 mm mounting pattern.
Choose an angled plate whenever the ceiling is not flat: it compensates for the ceiling slope so the mast hangs plumb, which a flat plate cannot do on a pitched surface. The plate must be fastened to structure capable of supporting 4 times the total load of the pipe, hardware, and mounted equipment, and the 125 lb rating of the plate must not be exceeded. Professional installation is recommended for ceiling-mounted products.
